What is a Skyline Shower?
The Skyline Shower Doors are a fixed panel and a door. Only the door moves, unlike a bypass shower where both panels move. The great thing about a skyline shower is that you have the option of customizing your options when it comes to the door opening. The shower door can be up to 72” wide opening and about 80” tall.
The rollers and rods used as hardware to open and close your door ensure a smooth transition from open to close. There is one more way to customize your Skyline Shower Doors and that is by having a three or four roller system. The door and panel can overlap by 1”-3”. There is also the option of doing a 90 degree fixed panel.
What are my Options for Glass and Hardware?
Your skyline shower can be everything you’ve ever dreamed of and more. There are options for glass thickness and type. As well as color options for hardware. These options include: Chrome, Polished Brass, Brushed Nickle, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, Polished Nickle, and Matte Black. You also have your choice of thickness of glass. These options include: 3/8” and 1/2″.
What to Expect when Getting a Skyline Showers:
The first step is to make a call to our office and set up a time for our technicians to come out and measure your shower opening.
Make sure that all tile work is completed before setting up an appointment.
Once the appointment is set up, a technician will arrive at the specified time.
The technician will measure your shower(s) and go over hardware, glass, and other options with you at the time of your appointment.
Once the estimate appointment is over, the tech will bring back your paperwork with all the information from your appointment and pass it along to our office staff.
The office staff will them price out your skyline shower and either call you or email you with a quote.
Once you have received the quote and approve the work, we place the order for all materials needed to complete your install.
After the material has arrived at our shop for your skyline shower, the materials will be
inspected and a call will be place to you, the customer, with a date to install.
After the install has been scheduled and the workers arrive on site, the install of all materials will begin. The process should take about 3-4 hours for install (depending on the shower and type).
Lastly, your beautiful skyline shower is complete and now you can truly enjoy your bothroom.
